Pros:
- It's faster then Windows and uses less memory.
- It's got cutting edge 3D desktop effect capabilities (with a far lower requirement then Vista)
- It's virus-proof.
- It's (relatively) easy to use.
- It detects most computer hardware automagically.
- It has a large user base, and help can be found all over the Internet.
- With codecs installed, it can play (almost) any media files, and it already plays my anime files better than Windows (sharper, faster).
- OpenOffice is a robust MS Office alternative (the PowerPoint alternative needs a little more work though).
- It's much more stable then Windows XP.
- It's much more secure then Windows XP.
- It's completely customizable.
- It's completely FREE.
- You won't have a guilty conscience from using a pirated copy of Windows.
Cons:
- It's not Windows.
- It requires some computer knowledge to maintain (or at least it requires somebody else who does).
- It doesn't play H.264 coded video.
- It doesn't come with multimedia codecs installed as standard.
- It requires a fast Internet connection to install programs from.
- It can only run a few Windows games and there's only a small number of Linux compatible games out there.
- Any computer hardware that it doesn't automatically detect is going to require you to tinker manually with the configuration files.
- Your local computer repair shop might not be familiar with it.

sebab semua cons tu la buatkan org tak guna linux..
windows has viruses, linux dont but why bother? windows has great interfaces.
linux need high speed internet to install apps, why bother? again.. windows has it all.. and most malaysian people dont afford to has broadband.
aa.. frust tol.. im a big fan of linux also dont feel like to use it..
